This session is a fun and relaxed group workshop covering the basics of Nordic Walking technique – so that you can get the feel of it and experience the benefits for yourself.
We will meet in the park at Hayle to get set up with some poles and find out a little about the history of Nordic Walking. We will then do some short exercises that form the basis of the technique before putting it in to practice!
Groups are small to allow for individual attention. By the end of the workshop, you should be able to use the poles effectively so that you would be happy joining a group walk or even buying your own poles!
You don’t need any special equipment. just a pair of trainers with good grip or some flexible walking shoes and non-restrictive leggings or walking trousers.
The workshop is just £15 for 90 minutes and includes pole hire. Minimum of two, maximum four participants in this beginners session.
